It is very important to study the cultures since them can influence in a certain way the manner in which a company is directed. This culture helps us to distinguish a group of people from another one due to its values and behaviors. These values are transferred from a generation to another one. Transferring practices, norms and forms of behavior.
Some organizations acquire values, practices and norms during the time, which talk about the way in which a company is handled and the expectations of the company of the member’s behavior. Its founder could implant this culture and like the National Culture the Corporate Culture is transmiting from generation trough generation. It is possible that this culture acquire new forms of behavior due to the influence of globalization and because it is necessary to go adapt to other cultures so that it is easier to penetrate other markets, but the essence continues being the same.
A way in which an organizational culture could be change is when a multinational acquires small national companies, being requisite for the small companies to change their local culture for a more global one, offering this more diversity and being possible to improve the performance of the company.
